現在の趣味は、畑作業です。また、学生にとって、何でも相談できるように、日頃親しくするようにしています。

研究内容
経済学という学問分野において、特にミクロ経済学を中心に、人的資本と貿易の関係、近年はさらに環境経済学の分野まで展開しました。
そのほかに、スポーツ経済学の分野でも研究を始め、さらに経済学の分野におけるさまざまなテーマを取り上げて研究しています。
